Biographical Notes:
Sammy Cahn is the famed songwriter who wrote the lyrics, "Like Niagara
Falls, I'm Falling for You" at 16.
Cahn Wrote songs for Frank Sinatra. It was a
professional "marriage" which would result in one top-ten success
after another for Sinatra over the next three decades: "Time After
Time," "All the Way," "High Hopes," "The Second
Time Around," "Call Me Irresponsible," "My Kind of
Town" and lots more.
He was nominated 30 times and won Academy Awards for 4 songs " Three Coins in the
Fountain" ; "High Hopes" ; " All the Way " and
"Call Me Irresponsible" who wrote the lyrics to such memorable songs
as "Love and Marriage", "High Hopes", and "It's
Magic".
